Monthly Giving

Dr Chang believed skills should be shared across borders, and that every surgeon trained could go on to save many more lives. Giving monthly keeps that work going

Your monthly gift helps us plan ahead.

Monthly donors are the backbone of the Victor Chang Foundation. Their loyal support arrives reliably and means we can commit to training cardiac surgeons from across Asia, knowing the funding will be there for the full length of each Fellowship.

VCF Cardiac Surgical Fellows return home to operate and to train other surgeons, so a regular gift continues to make a difference for a lifetime.

Why is monthly giving so important?

Monthly giving is the most effective way to support our work. It gives us a steady, reliable income, so we can plan ahead and commit to training surgeons with confidence.

Your monthly donations create a ripple effect

Every Fellow we train returns home to operate and to teach other surgeons. A monthly gift supports that training, and the skills are passed on long after the Fellowship ends.

It's easier for you, and for us

You choose the amount, and your gift is processed automatically each month. It saves time and administration costs, and you can change or cancel at any time.

It helps us plan for the long term

Monthly gifts are our most reliable source of income. Each Fellowship runs for 12 to 24 months, and we need to know the funding is secure before we fund a surgeon to train in Australia and allocate surgeons to train them. Regular support also means we can spend less on fundraising appeals.

"To be truly successful you pass on
your knowledge, because the most
important thing is to teach, to pass on
your skills to others so they can
continue without you. Train a surgeon, who trains others, on and on."
